We work directly with Indigenous Peoples and organizations to design and deploy targeted corporate and shareholder advocacy campaigns. In parallel, we work within the global Indigenous rights movement to elevate ongoing rights violations at an international level.
Corporate Engagement
We bridge Indigenous knowledge with investor strategies to advance Indigenous Peoples' rights and self-determination as core values for sustainable and ethical business.
We center Indigenous power and support Indigenous leadership to leverage shareholder advocacy in line with Indigenous Peoples’ self-determined goals and advocate for adoption of the rights of Indigenous Peoples into routine business practice.
We engage with the finance and business sectors, as well as standard-setting bodies to provide context for a wide range of corporate decision-makers regarding the business case for respect for Indigenous Peoples’ rights.
Across sectors, we deliver expertise, analysis, and guidance to expand consideration of Indigenous Peoples’ rights in sustainability and human rights criteria.
International Advocacy
We advocate to corporations to demonstrate the gap they must fill in order to be responsive to their responsibility to respect human rights under the UNGPs as per the UN Declaration on the rights of Indigenous Peoples.
We actively engage with international mechanisms, including the United Nations, to advocate alongside Indigenous partners for the protection and advancement of Indigenous Peoples' rights.
We support impactful international engagements that complement our corporate advocacy efforts, drawing critical attention from the global community to the threats facing Indigenous Peoples.
Through strategic, impactful responses to the United Nations and other international mechanism, we ensure that Indigenous Peoples' rights are embedded in the development of policies, standards, and global best practices.
